No, we are not just another Denomination. Neither are we inter-denominational. Rather it is our aim to be NON-denominational. We only want to wear the name of Christ, and be known simply as Christians, members of the “body of Christ”. Such was true of our Lord's disciples in the first century (Acts 11:26; 26:28; Ephesians 1:22-23). We believe such is possible today. For example, Jesus said that His word was “the seed of the kingdom” (Luke 8:11). A fundamental truth is that a seed, when planted, will reproduce after its own kind: corn will always produce corn, beans will always produce beans, etc. When one plants “the seed of the kingdom” (the word of God) into the hearts of men and they obey it today, it will produce the same thing it produced in the first century - Christians.
Our creed is our belief in Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God. The Bible is our only book of rules, and it governs our faith and our conduct.
Our worship assemblies are simple, orderly and spiritual. We sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs of praise to God, pray, read the Bible, and study from it. We remember the sacrificial death of Jesus by observing the memorial of the Lord’s supper each Sunday. We also make our free-will contributions upon this same day. We do not solicit, nor expect any contributions from people other than members of this congregation.
We have Bible classes for all ages every Sunday morning at 9:30, and our assembly for worship is at 10:30 a.m. We meet again each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. for another period of worship. We also have Bible classes for all ages each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
When you visit our assemblies, you
will not be singled out, embarrassed, or put under any kind of pressure.
Instead, you will be received in a friendly, courteous manner. At your
request, we will gladly study the Bible with you privately. We thank you
for allowing us to introduce ourselves, and we hope to meet you very soon.
